[SOLUTION] Stakeholder Analysis in Projects

In the “Stakeholder Analysis in Projects” article this week, the authors Jepsen and Eskerod (2008) found that the “guidelines provided in current literature are far too general to be useful for people who are not academically trained in doing data collection… [and their] findings show that a project manager may not have the skills required for selecting informants and conducting interviews” (p. 341). Based on this finding and observation that “there is a need for research on how to approach and interview important stakeholders to grasp the kind and level of attention that they need” (p. 342), what approached would you recommend while interviewing stakeholders and analyzing data to make sure you (as a project manager) are capturing the appropriate data needed to effectively analyze stakeholders.
