Create your own Modest Proposal For this paper, I want you to create your own “Modest Proposal.” In four pages, double-spaced, write a satiric response to what you see as a current or historical national/ cultural/ institutional problem. Propose a parodic ‘corrective’ to this problem in a way that exposes the weakness of your satiric target(s), rather than offers a viable solution. While writing, think about what opportunities and license posing as the ‘enemy’ provides (as opposed to criticizing your enemy from a removed perspective).
