[Get Solution] Cybersecurity Fundamentals
As you know, this list of ten commandments takes the form of 8 “thou shalt not” and 2 “thou shalt” principles. Furthermore, recall from our recorded presentations that when security gets in the way of the mission, security is at fault, not the mission. For this discussion, I am interested in cross-pollenation of ideas/experiences as it relates to the intersection of the Ten Commandments of Computer Ethics and this notion that security cannot impede the mission. Specifically, I want to spin up a discussion round which of these Ten Commandments–BASED ON YOUR PERSONAL EXPERIENCE ON EITHER THE IT OR FUNCTIONAL SIDE OF THE ORGANIZAION–is most challenging as it relates to accomplishing the commandment without impeding the mission. While I am not interested (at all) in proprietary details, please provide generalized scenarios/contingencies that you have experienced that illustrate the challenge of maintaining both principles. Also, please share ideas on organizational mechanisms that might help achieve enhanced balance between the two competing goals…this can be accomplished in original posts or as follow-ups to others’ posts.
