In session 1 we discussed PTSD. Review that article and try to apply some of its concepts to make your own interpretation of Guernica (you might consider, for instance, the theme of psychological anguish or the nightmarish stylistic qualities of the painting). Then, take a look at some contemporary Black Lives Matter protest murals and discuss any parallels you find between them and Guernica. Finally, do you think that Guernica is an effective work of art?
