Assignment : Milton’s Paradise Lost Before the Renaissance, religion (notably Christianity) played a major role in the Western literary tradition. After the Renaissance-era, writers such as John Milton explored psychological aspects of the characters in their works, even as they still used Biblical characters, such as God, Satan, Adam, and Eve. Assignment: Write a one (1) page paper (not 1.5) with clearly defined terms, topic, and developed thesis sentence that briefly discusses the character of Satan and how he is represented in Book I.
