Ethics in Nursing

Behaving in an ethical manner is expected from those in our profession (nurse).  While nurses must abide by the code of ethics, and we know that all professions follow an ethical code, should not everyone, regardless of their profession abide by ethics?   In addition…..admitting when one is wrong is the right thing to do and certainly the ethical thing to do, but why is it so hard?
