[SOLVED] The Romanticism Art Movement

Compose a 500 words assignment on romanticism art movement. Needs to be plagiarism free! Romanticism Art Movement Romanticism (1790-1850) has been one of the most influential art movements of the late -18th to the mid -19th century in the Western civilization which gave paramount significance to individualism, subjectivism, irrationalism, imagination, emotions and nature. “The Romantic Movement did not necessarily favor a specific aesthetic. instead, Romanticism is characterized by an approach to art in which emotion is more important than reason.” (Safire, 25) Materialized as an artistic and intellectual movement against the established social and religious values and order, Romanticism supported the revitalization of several artistic styles. The Romantic Movement emphasized different types of art styles, mainly because the artists of this movement believed in the expression of subjective experience of the individual and there were revival of the different styles. “Romantic artists were fascinated by the nature, the genius, their passions and inner struggles, their moods, mental potentials, the heroes. They investigated human nature and personality, the folk culture, the national and ethnic origins, the medieval era, the exotic, the remote, the mysterious, the occult, the diseased, and even satanic.” (Romanticism) Significantly, Romanticism started as a movement in Germany and England in the 1770’s and, by the 1820’s, it had spread all through Europe, followed by its spread in the United States. There are a number of artists, including writers, poets, politicians, philosophers who belong to the category of ‘Romantic Artists’ and the most significant of them are William Blake, Henry Fuseli, Francisco de Goya, Friedrich Overbeck, Eugene Delacroix, William Turner, and John Constable. All these Romantic artists enjoyed a romantic spirit which was above the firm formal rules and traditional procedures of the time and their role was similar to eventual egoistic creators. The artists of Romanticism considered imagination as a gateway to transcendent experience and spiritual truth and these qualities were evident in their artistic creations. It is significant to note that the Romantic Movement in art was a product of the movement in literature and philosophy which accentuated emotional, spontaneous and imaginative approaches. “In the visual arts, Romanticism came to signify the departure from classical forms and an emphasis on emotional and spiritual themes. Caused by the sudden social changes that occurred during the French Revolution and the Napoleonic era, Romanticism was formed as a revolt against Neoclassicism and its emphasis on order, harmony, balance, idealization, and rationality.” (Art History: Romanticism) Thus, the movement stressed freedom, emotion, and imagination of individuals and was subjective in character. The artists of this group emphasized spontaneity and freedom and considered imagination as greater to reason and beauty. Therefore, they depended greatly on personal spirit and creativity as against formal training. “Romantic techniques were developed to produce associations in the mind of the viewer. These foundations of the Romantic Movement were influential in the development of Symbolism and later Expressionism and Surrealism.” (Art History: Romanticism) In conclusion, Romanticism has been a significant movement in the history of art and literature which tremendously influenced the artists of the period as well as the other movements of the time and the following age.Works Cited“Art History: Romanticism.” Worldwide Arts Resources. 16 Feb. 2009. .“Romanticism (1790-1850).” Art History. 16 Feb. 2009. .Safire, William. [SOLVED] Beauty and Art

Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide. An abstract is required. 31 May, What is beauty and more importantly, what is the use of beauty and culture? Beauty is all what appears, sounds and feels good to the senses. Beauty is not something that can be touched or tasted. It is an abstract noun. What is funny about beauty is that it may not be felt by every individual. That is why beauty is said to be in the beholder’s eyes. This is not just an adage. In fact, it is a whole ideology which says that beauty originates in the perception of the individual appreciating a certain thing. The thing may not necessarily be beautiful, but the individual’s point of view is indeed, beautiful! On the other hand, culture is the general way of living of a nation which signifies its trends, traditions, norms, values, moral standards, ethics and common practices. Culture of a nation is essentially its identity. Different nations are identified by their individualistic cultures. Like the difference of their meanings, beauty and culture both have their own individualistic uses. It is hard to identify particular uses of beauty since it is required in everything. It is used everywhere. Crockery is made beautiful to increase its market value. Makeup is worn to look beautiful and presentable so that a woman can work. The fundamental use of culture is that it lends identity to the people who belong to that culture. Culture is used to benchmark ethical standards which can be used to compare an individual’s performance against. Owing to their common identity ingrained in their culture, people of one nation become united and a strong force.

[SOLVED] Acitivating Creativity

Acitivating creativity. Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide. An abstract is required. Sadly though, not all people will go about this process in the same manner and with the same level of success and experience. In Rossman’s creativity model (1931), evidence of the different levels of activities and tasks involved in the activation of creativity is showed in a manner that depicts that there are as many as seven different processes that needs to be considered in a typical creative thinking process. The rate of success associated with each process determines that overall success with the activation of creativity. From his model, the processes are given as observation of a need or difficulty, analysis of the need, a survey of all available information, a formulation of all objective solutions, a critical analysis of solutions, the birth of the new idea (invention), and experimentation to test out the most promising solution (Rossman, 1931). Similarly, Wallas (1926) touches on a creativity process in a manner that gives an indication that creativity is not an event that takes place in a one off moment but undergoes the achievement of a series of tasks, which comes together to be collectively known as the creativity process. He though gives the process as indicated below. Through the outline above, seven major tasks will have to be completed including orientation, preparation, analysis, ideation, incubation, synthesis and evaluation. It is based on the foundations of these two major models that four series of assessments were carried out and presented in the following journal. With a different task to fulfil in each of the assessments, the various creativity processes that went into the fulfilment of each of the tasks have been completed below. Assessment 1 Assignment 1 was on conceptual photography and involved the taking of a photograph that was used in depicting more than what was seen in the image of the picture. That is to say that, conceptual photographs are used to express generalised concepts of events and process that take place and happen all around us (Keller-Mathers, 2004). To accomplish this task, a picture of two people running a change of baton race was taken. The concept that was being examined in the photograph was the symbolism of the power of two. It is said in a Chinese proverb that if two people carry a single load, it does not hurt. What this means is that it always pays off to have a helping hand in any project or activity that a person is undertaking. It is not surprising that it is said in an England parable that two heads are better than one. When two people team up to accomplish a common task, there is much effectiveness and efficiency (Grivas, 1996). This is because there is the sharing of ideas and thoughts in a manner that makes exchanges of knowledge rapid and forthcoming. Studying the picture critically, it would be noted that a total of 400 meters was supposed to be completed in the race. Meanwhile, due to the limitation of the human ability in running such a distance, it would be difficult for any person to end the 400 meter race with the same level of speed that was started. But in completing a 100 meter race by the same person, the tendency to maintain the start up speed or even improve on it is higher. To this end, instead of allowing one person to do the entire 400 meters, four people team up to run 100 meters each. As a proof of the fact that team spirit brings results, the finishing time in the change of baton is better than when one person alone run the entire 400 meters. Assessment 2 Assignment 2 was carried out by the use of divergent thinking. That is, there was the use of exploration of many different possible solutions (Gonzalez, 2003).

[SOLVED] Sketches and Architect’s Memories

Write 14 pages with APA style on Sketches and Architect’s Memories. Particular attention has been given to the role of memory in influencing the expression of a person’s thoughts, either in his private or his social/ professional life. The potentials of memory to play such roles are made clear in the case of sketching. In this paper, the impact of memory on the drawings developed by a specific group of professionals, architects, is explored. The approaches used by popular architects, such as Frank Gehry and Le Corbusier, when sketching are presented in order to understand the role of memories in drawing, as this relationship can be quite strong in architecture. Reference is also made to the position of drawing in architecture, i.e. the necessity and the demands of drawing as part of the particular science. It is proved that architects are likely to be highly influenced by their memory when producing sketching but the level of interaction between memories and sketching may not be standardized. It is also revealed that affecting drawing memories can also impact the final form/ structure of a building, even if extensive changes may have occurred on the drawings on which the construction of the building has been based. On the other hand, it is clear that sketching cannot be developed fully independently from memories. rather, the drawings developed by an architect are critical signs of the architect’s experiences even drawings may not highly reflect these experiences, under the terms described below.Drawing, as an activity, is difficult to be precisely described. In fact, the drawing should be considered as a rather complex process, being related ‘to material conditions, such as works on paper, to techniques or to functions’ (Hamel, “Lines of Confrontation”, in Frascari et al. 2013, p.205). In architecture, drawing seems to have a key mission: to define ‘the borders of space’ (Hamel, in Frascari et al. 2013, p.206).For architects drawing has a key role: it helps them to express their thoughts.
